Film Your Issue

Film Your Issue

People are constantly struggling with different issues around the world. . Every single person should be entitled to a solid and stable roof above his/her head, the right to live in a safe and secure environment and the right to acceptance of one's religion, ethnicity, race, gender and other human distinctions.

By filming your issue you can create awareness. Take out your camera and film those issues that you find important, so that we together can create awareness and promote the general knowledge on pressing global issues.

This year, the Outreach Division of the UN Department of Public Information (DPI) partnered with FYI and offered three UN issues to focus on.
peace, tolerance and international migration.
In order to highlight the issues. There is a UN webpage for Film Your Issue to be found on the UN chronicle website --
http://www.un.org/Pubs/chronicle/index.html -- and a linked page -- http://www.un.org/Pubs/chronicle/fyi/fyi.htm which explain the UN issues and feature films related to them.
